A One Day workshop on Mushroom Cultivation was conducted on 23rd, March 2019 under the aegis of RUSA Vocationalization 2018-19. N. Chingin Konyak, Agriculture Officer, Tizit was the Resource Person. Students were given intensive step by step training into mushroom cultivation beginning with cutting and disinfecting of the hay/straw required for mushroom growth. A demonstration was conducted by the resource person after which the RUSA students enthusiastically managed to bed the spawn into 67 bags. A total of 20 students participated in the activity.
